For some time
my mother had been requesting a
Field Spaniel puppy to do
performance activities with. I
kept promising her that when the
right litter came along we would
find her that special girl that
she so desired. When Robert
sired a litter in late 2009 I
decided to take the opportunity
to see if there was a puppy
within that litter that would
meet my mother's expectations.
So in the
blustery February winter of
2010, we found ourselves heading
into Ohio to evaluate the litter
out of Robert and a Swedish
import girl named Ella.
We were not to be
disappointed. There was a lovely
liver girl with a pretty yellow ribbon
that quickly caught our eye.
When she tested as having an
outstanding
performance potential we were not the
least bit surprised. This girl
had displayed a wonderful happy attitude
and willingness to investigate
everyone and everything around
her. The temperament test only
confirmed our initial
observations.
Jordyn structural evaluation
was equally as promising and we
look forward to eventually
showing her to her championship
one day. We really feel like we
have hit the jackpot with the
out-going personality combined
with balanced structure and biddability-
the perfect combination!
Jordyn is just a baby and
currently just working on the
simple puppy stuff- she has been
having a blast getting to know
big sister Clover and my Mom is
just thrilled with her. Check
back for updated pictures as our
little girl grows up.
